We’ll explore informally, associatively and collaboratively the politics of the image; what it means to us and how it affects us, our lives and realities. This talk will take recent development in Turkey as its central focus… the war, the coup d’etat attempt, a paramilitary assassin’s confessions.. through images. What images are able to reach us? in which order? How the reality is constructed through imagery; the images of ‘the evil’ and ‘the victimized’; what is then an ‘activist image’…

Bring images if you want to contribute the story that we will construct during this session.
